Rakesh Sharma, CPP is a Veteran & currently serving as Senior Vice President at Barclays. He is having more than 3 decades of diverse experience in large teams & various domains of corporate security, Investigations, risks & operations. 

As head of Corporate Security, his role includes to drive Security Strategic programs/ operations, Risk Assessments, Travel & Transport security, Event Protection, Joint Operations Center to manage all the crisis/ communication etc.
Prior to joining Barclays, Rakesh served 6.5 years with Central Armed Police where he served majority of the uniformed tenure during peak of Militancy in south Kashmir. He was recipient of Gallantry Medal/ Award for successfully conducting special operations.

In the past, he headed Corporate Security function for Fidelity Investments India & APAC region and also led security teams while with Deutsche Bank AG, Royal Dutch Shell & Reliance Industries limited.
Rakesh is an active member of various International professional security forums like OSAC, ASIS, ACSG & well known in the security industry across the APAC region.
