Shoaib Ahmed is a Senior Manager, Protective Services at Amazon. He heads Risk, Security and Protective Intelligence for Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video. His remit includes India, Middle East, and North Africa. He set-up the India operations for Protective Services – Media and Events vertical and focusses on strategies and frameworks to mitigate risks to Amazon’s brand and reputation that could emanate from its media businesses, including, OTT shows, films, theatrical releases, premieres, and other global business interests. 
  
In his over 19-year long career, Shoaib has handled multiple strategic and leadership roles at Control Risks, Deloitte, and Meta. He thrives on leading on challenges at the intersection of risk management, strategic outreach, investigations, crisis management, and brand protection.
 

Shoaib is a former investigative television journalist and, in his decade-long journey in news media he broke over 35 high profile investigations and LIVE news reports on terrorism, politics, cyber-crime, aviation, judicial courts and national security.
