Arpit Rajain is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Public Policy, Governance, Compliance, Business Continuity, and Security Risk Management. As the CEO of WoRisGo, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in developing and implementing security risk programs across diverse industries, including Banking, Financial, Pharma, Insurance, ITES, Mining, and Oil & Gas. Arpit’s career spans over two decades, with significant roles at Fidelity Investments and India Bound. His expertise includes Crisis Management, International Relations, Emergency Management, and Corporate Governance. He has a proven track record in conducting security risk assessments, preparing vendor risk frameworks, and managing geo-political risks. Arpit holds a Certificate of Business Excellence from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.Phil in International Organizations from Jawahar Lal Nehru University. He is also a published author and an active volunteer.

R.Pradeep John, Senior Manager, TNUIFSL also blogs under Tamil Nadu Weatherman name in Facebook and Twitter. He is been working in Project Development in TNUIFSL for past 15 years and has been part of projects such as Adyar Poonga Restoration (1st wetland restoration in India) and many other infrastructure projects across the State, Chennai Realtime Flood Forecasting, Restoration of Adyar River in Hybrid Annuity Model.

His initial bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering in the year 1999 from the present Sathyabama University followed by M.B.A (Finance) in 2003.

He has always been a Pluviophile (lover of rain and rain gives happiness) in his life. The significant cyclone which made landfall in Chennai in October 1994 and subsequent floods in June 1996 created huge interest in weather in him.  Even though his education (BE in computer science and MBA Finance) has nothing to do with weather, he continued his passion during his free time.

He started to give real-time updates and quell rumors on Chennai and Tamil Nadu Weather as Tamil Nadu Weatherman from October 2014 in Facebook / Twitter. He has interpreted his views in advance to the public on some of the important weather events in the State such as November-December 2015 floods in Chennai, 2016 Cyclone Vardah which crossed Chennai, Cyclone Ockhi in 2017 which devastated Kanyakumari, Chennai Floods in 2023 from Cyclone Michaung. His passion is compiling rainfall stats of heavy rainfall stations in India and plans to visit all these wonderful places such as Hulikal, Agumbe, Cherrapunji, Talacauvery, Mahabaleshwar, Chinna Kallar etc during his lifetime.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of Lincoln and numerous certifications in security and risk management. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including ASIS International and the Institute of Strategic Risk Management.

Tarun Nair is an intelligence analyst with Dragonfly’s South Asia desk. He is responsible for covering geopolitical and security risks in the sub-region for the firm’s Security Intelligence and Analysis Service, which provides anticipatory intelligence to global businesses. Tarun has over six years’ analytical and leadership experience with market-leading political risk and intelligence firms, including Torchlight AI (formerly Falanx Assynt), International SOS, and MAX Security Solutions. During this time, he has worked on diverse mandates such as political risk, market entry, and investigative due diligence, largely in South and Southeast Asia.
