Hope you are doing well. OSAC Chennai Chapter as part of AGM have planned to recognize the most deserving candidates from all chapter with awards. This is first of its kind initiative and based on your nomination, a jury from your chapter would be reviewing your profile and finalising the awardee. If it is a self nomination, please note that you can nominate yourself for only one category based on the minimum requirements provided below.

1. Sentinel of Security - Distinguished Service Award:

This award is a prestigious recognition designed to honor an individual's enduring commitment and significant contributions to the field of security within a specific chapter or community. The criteria for this award include -

• Active Membership: Must be an active member of any of the OSAC Chapters in India.

• Dedicated Service: A minimum of 15 years of dedicated service in the security sector.

• Exceptional Leadership: Proven track record of exceptional leadership, mentorship, and the implementation of innovative security measures that have significantly enhanced the safety and integrity of the chapter. 

• NextGen Initiatives: Active contributions in grooming the next generation of security professionals, particularly mentoring young professionals, promoting security awareness, and best practices. 

This award not only celebrates past achievements but also encourages ongoing excellence and dedication in the vital field of security. 

2. The Pinnacle of Protection Prodigy Award:

This award recognizes the brightest new talent in the field of security. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon an individual who has demonstrated exceptional skill, innovation, and dedication within the early stages of their security career. Criteria for this award include 

• Active Membership: Must be an active member of any of the OSAC Chapters in India.

• Notable Contributions: Active participation, engagement in the OSAC Chapter initiatives and significant contributions to the advancement of security practices.

• Professional Excellence: Proven track record of exemplary professional conduct and a commitment to continuous learning and development in the field.

• Experience: Between 4 to 15 years in the security sector, with significant strides made in their role, showing potential to become a future leader in the industry.

• Mentorship: Actively guiding or mentoring young talents transitioning into the world of security 

The recipient of this award sets a standard for excellence, inspiring peers with their fresh perspectives and proactive approach.
